Virtual Acute Care, LLC is a Tampa, Florida base company focused on delivery of hospital level care with advanced monitoring to patients at home, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living centers. We support patients’ desire to avoid hospitalization and to be treated in a familiar place for mild to moderate symptoms that would be “observed” in the hospital. We provide that observation service at home. We partner with hospital-based physicians and advanced practice nurses to deliver care that is on par or superior to what is available at the hospital. During the pandemic we provided care to vulnerable seniors outside of the hospital, which not only reduced their risk of infection but also helped local hospitals preserve bed capacity to deal with surges of COVID-19.

Our clinical programs are designed and built using the B.E.T.T.E.R. Quality Care framework that creates high performance programs optimized to delivery care that is beneficial, effective, timely, targeted, efficient, and reliable. All of our programs feature multidimensional quality measurement that inform on the progress of a current cycle with indicator metrics and assures excellent clinical results using outcome metrics.
